Motivation
Dear Resisters!
This is your opportunity to get involved. We understand you have might have a lot going on but, in order for us to create a more just world we must be present and show up. There are many ways you can be a part of the movement.
You can attend our meetings and volunteer to be a working part of one of our many sub-committees. There are many different opportunites to be an integral part of the mission, even from home!
If that doesn’t work for you, feel free to attend any of the city council or school board meetings that are shared on the calendar.
There are many ways to get involved and be a part of the progress. We urge you to find what works for you and get in where you fit in!
Please feel free to email us about anything specific to 805Resistance. If you are an activist, community organizer or part of an organization and you want to share an event to be added to the calendar please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Our Mission
We are dedicated to active and focused change on the micro and macro levels. Our philosophy is one of a holistic approach to systemic racism and social injustices. We then strategize and create solutions and partner work with our community, other organizations, and activist to implement practical solutions and facilitate systemic change for all marginalized communities including Black. Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC), LGBTQ+, immigrant and other identified marginalized groups.
